All staff report to the Aquatic Operations and Recovery Program Supervisor and are responsible for providing a safe, clean, professional and friendly environment to ensure that pool guests have a positive water experience. Staff paid for training in exchange for a long-term commitment to the organization. Continued involvement in facility planning, programming, pooling and maintenance is coordinated in collaboration with other municipal services. Based on their experience, all candidates must have their National Lifeguard or Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate or Lifesaving Instructor. Standard first aid and bronze medallion and bronze cross. Candidates with excellent communication and positive interpersonal skills; Time management and computer skills, as well as knowledge of aquatic programming principles, will be encouraged. An effective customer approach and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment are essential.
